However, the opportunity to collect valuable intelligence from the neighboring campsite will be lost. Completing this mission for Sabal will increase his trust in you, and help solidify him as the leader of the Golden Path. Sabal Mission 02 Burn it DownadvertisementPagan Min is producing mass quantaties of opium in an abandoned tea factory. Not wanting to see Kyrat become a drug state, Sabal requests that Ajay burn the Opium fields so that production of the addictive drugs will never be resumed. Completing this quest for Sabal will further solidify him as the leader of the Golden path, but will cause Amita to lose her faith in Ajay's judgement. Sabal Mission 03 Basic ChemistryWhile the poppy fields may have been burned, the raw opiates that were already harvested were sent to a brick factory that doubles as an opium refinery. Sabal tasks Ajay with destroying the brick factory to ensure that Kyrat never produces heroin again. Completing this mission will secure Sabal's position as the Golden Path's leader, but Amita will loose whatever trust she had in Ajay once he destroys the only chance the Golden Path had to finance their revolution. NOTE Choosing to destroy the factory for Sabal will also result in a change in objectives in the campaign mission A Key to the North. Amita will tell Ajay to hijack a chemical truck, but Sabal will belay that order in favor of stealing a fuel truck to help take the bridge from the Royal Guard. Sabal Mission 04 Cease and DesistChoosing to side with Sabal on this mission will ensure that he becomes the penultimate leader of the Golden Path. This is the final leadership decision you will be able to make, so choose to preserve what the temple of Jalendu means as a symbol to the Kyrati people, Sabal will ask you to get to the temple ahead of Amita's men and secure it from Pagan Min's forces. Electing to do this for Sabal will save the temple, but ensure that Bhadra is ordained as the new Tarun Matara, and Sabal remains the leader of the Golden Path until the end of the game. Sabal Mission 05 Take CoverOnce Jalendu has been secured, Sabal will realize that Pagan Min's army is bombarding the village of Utkarsh and send Ajay to protect the town and destroy the artillery encampments. Amita's golden path storylineAmita Mission 01 Hunt or be HuntedThe military is about to attack a small village outpost, which will provide an opportunity to gather valuable intelligence on an upcoming attack from another campsite. Amita asks Ajay to infiltrate the camp and steal the intelligence, even if it means sacrificing lives at the outpost under attack. Choosing to find the intelligence for Amita will result in the death of nine of Sabal's best men, but also tips Amita off to an impending attack on a Golden Path monastery. Amita Mission 02 ReclamationadvertisementWhen Sabal learns of an Opium farm operating out of an abandoned tea factory, he asks Ajay to burn the fields in order to prevent Kyrat from becoming a drug state. Amita, however, asks Ajay to eliminate the military forces guarding the factory so that the Golden Path can use the profits to finance the revolution. Drug money can pay for many vehicles and weapons in the fight against Pagan Min. Completing this mission for Amita will cause Sabal to view Ajay as morally bankrupt, even if the money does help the Golden Path build schools and hospitals. Amita Mission 03 Advanced ChemistryEven though Ajay reclaimed the tea factory and poppy fields, the nerve center of the Kyrati drug operation is still under the control of Pagan Min. Amita asks Ajay to eliminate the military presence at the brick factory where the poppies are being refined into opium, which will allow the Golden Path to take over the operation and finance their military and civil infrastructure. Completing this mission will put Amita in control of the Golden Path, but force Sabal to question the faith he placed in the son of Mohan Ghale. Amita Mission 04 Culture WarsChoosing to side with Amita on this mission will ensure that she becomes the penultimate leader of the Golden Path. This is the final leadership decision you will be able to make, so choose fed up with the "traditional" values of the Kyrati patriarchy, Amita wants to free the women - and men - of Kyrat from outdated and obtuse system of government. Does it really matter?andrewjelen 7 years ago1I am really angry about this whole story arc that was created for Far Cry 4. You start off as a guy trying to reunite his mother and Lakshmana together. Then you log in about 20 hours of gameplay fighting your way between the Golden Path rivalries, only to find out that nothing changes at Extremely conservative cult leader, who will only become an even worse leader than Pagan and will probably end the country in a mass genocide. It's not like he's already been killing every single person who was ever suspected of supporting Anita throughout the game. Even those begging for forgiveness from the same gods he had you fight for. Also, it's told by NPC's in the game that his main goal was to marry Bhadra, whose like 13, in order to secure the throne. Also he always tells you to be like your father, Mohan Ghale, who was such of a conservatist that he super spoiler killed your half-sister as a baby. And he didn't kill her because he was jealous of Ishwari's affair, but because it somehow jeopardized the countries future because Ishwari may have told Pagan about his An extremely narcissistic leader who obviously had some childhood issues that gave her a huge Napoleon complex that influenced her every action. It's heavily hinted in the story that she may have been a juvenile prostitute, citing some quote from the game, "I was 13? when my parents told me..." which explains a lot. Think about it, base the economy off drugs, which it already was, to do what? Make her richer. Steal intel from Pagan? To learn how he operates the country. Destroy religious relics? To make sure that it doesn't interfere with her power. And "take away" Bhadra to "protect her"? One of two things, either she killed her in order to not have some religious deity who could serve as a threat to her power walking around; or to protect her from the abuses she had to face as a obviously worse than Pagan because she has no real morality at all, at least Pagan did everything out of hatred and denial over Lakshmana's death. Even at the end of the game she's shown forcefully taking children from their families in order to enlist them in the army. And for what? To strengthen her where do you, Ajay Ghale, come in? Nowhere. It's obvious that this a hugely underdeveloped part of the story. Pagan only wants to give you power over the country and in the Easter egg ending, it's heavily hinted that he does. At the end of the game he says that his sole intention of meeting you was to pass on the country to you, as a should've been another choice where you get actually get to control Ajay's actions and choose how you want rule the country, not be Sabal's "right hand killing machine", or Amita's "exiled terrorist". He has no dialogue. You can still kill him though. I also killed Amita when I travelled to Tirtha. Every now and then NPC's tell me that "Now that Amita is gone Sabal has taken over.", even though both of them are dead. Later on in the game you still can decide if you want to do Sabal's or Amita's plan. I switched a couple times so far and either way I had a negative reaction eg. cities being attacked and people die. It seems so far, that the main plot doesn't change and those decisions only decide on what the prologue or epilogue mission looks like.
